Tony is growing up fast. Already over 3 months old. Ezio seems to enjoy being a big brother, which is nice. They get along nicely, at least for now.

Lately been playing a lot less World of Tanks while playing more Overwatch. I tried playing some tanks the other day, but it's gotten so frustrating, that I don't think I'll play it much from now on. I still will for the occasional event in the Training Rooms or Triarii stuff, but I'm not sure I can take any more grinding, at least not at this time. 

Overwatch is fun. I would recommend it to others, for sure. It's a 6v6 FPS game, multiplayer only. You can have an epic battle and it comes down to deciding the winner in Overtime. Those types of rounds are epic.

A Lot Can Change...

...In the 3 years or more. I hadn't realized blogging was still a thing for individuals, until Zachary mentioned it. Oh well. 

I'm not even going to try to cover all that has happened since the last post. Just the basics.

Got married in August of 2013, first son Ezio was born in November of 2014. Second son Antonio was born May of 2016. We live in NC now, instead of CO. I work for Human Technologies, Inc, as the Branch Coordinator in Asheville for the Employment Solutions division of the company. It's a new line of work for me, but I enjoy it a lot. Helps having great co-workers!

Been more active in the gaming community. World of Tanks: Blitz and Walking War Robots take most of the time on the iPad/iPhone platforms, what the Assassin's Creed series takes a lot of time on the consoles. I still enjoy music, reading, and collecting Lego's and Hot Wheels, as well as slowly getting into the photography hobby (many thanks to Zachary for that one!).

Well, well! Just realized how long it has been since I've posted anything here! Almost been three years. And I have to say, quite a bit has changed since then.

I ended up not going to Massage school. Rather, I stayed at Eden Valley Institute of Wellness, first as a cook, then as a Hyperbaric Therapist for a brief spell, before going back to the kitchen. Currently that's where I still am. And I'm finally starting to enjoy it! lol Seriously, if you had asked me when I first got here if I'd ever be happy cooking for a living, I'd'a said you were crazy. But maybe I'm just a little crazy myself....

When we first moved here, my Grandpa was living with us. He passed away on September 12, 2011. He was 90 and his quality of life was going down. While it was hard to lose him, he is asleep in Jesus until the Second Coming. And I'm happy to know I'll see him again. :)

I also bought a car in August of 2011. A 2007 Nissan Sentra 2.0S model. Fun to drive, quite economical and full of memories already. Really a sturdy car and it should last us a good long while.

In the spring of last year (can't remember month) my parents moved back to CA for about half a year. So I was on my own here at EVI. On my own for the first time in my life. Quite an experience, I must say! Yes, there are thing's I'd do differently if I could live those months over again, but I've learned from that time and am making a better future.

And, more recently, I found a really close friend, with which I've shared many experiences with so far and am hoping to share many, many more. Jennifer came to work in the kitchen last fall and our boss inadvertently pushed us together. Neither of us was interested in a relationship at first, and it took a few weeks of going together to realize that we were going together! But after a couple specific experiences together, we realized that we wanted more than just a regular friendship. So now we are dating and are quite serious. In the time spent together, we've realized just how much we have in common.

Most recently, I was rebaptized. This past summer I had begun to see that I needed to make some changes in my life and come back to God. After Jennie came, she gently encouraged me to seek God and, with the counsel of others, decided to recommit my life. I'm the happiest I've been in a long time and praise God for his taking control of my life, in every aspect of it.

Update from Eden Valley Institute

We're doing well here in CO. Had a pretty good weekend. Today I went with Steven to Fort Collins and in the process found 3 geocaches. I also managed to drop off a Travel Bug that I had picked up in OK before I left. One of the caches was a pico tube that was hidden inside a BIG rubber cockroach. Creepy!

Within 10 yards of our house there is a den where a red fox lives. It also has 4 kits! It's amazing, they come out in the daytime and don't show any fear. I've seen cars drive right by them and they don't budge. They just watch it. We also have at least 4 squirrels living in the trees around our house, as well as numerous birds. Just saw my first humming bird of the season a few minutes ago!

There are also a number of dogs around here, including a pug by the name of Miss Kitty! LOL!

2 More Days!

Well, two more days until we move to Loveland, CO! Seems like the last couple of weeks have just flown by! I'm really looking forward to the move. This'll be the first time I travel a large distance driving by myself! I'll be driving our Impala while my parents take turns driving the Budget truck.

While I'm looking forward to moving, I'm definitely sad to be leaving OK, where I've spent 8 years of my life. I'm also sad to be leaving most of my friends here, too. But I just have to remind myself that I'd be leaving eventually to go to college in SD.

Well, it looks like we'll be moving to Colorado at the end of the month. Just a little west of Loveland, CO. I plan to spend the summer there with my parents, then in Sept. head off to South Dakota for college. I'm quite excited about the move.

Update.

So far I'm enjoying my "summer" vacation. Cooler weather right now, so it's a great time to go cachin'! Only we don't seem to have time to. :(

Heading to LCA to work for about 3 days. Guess they are short-staffed right now.

In Shift, I'm two levels away from completing the game. What fun! After I finish, I plan to work on Hot Pursuit II.

The Pathfinders are heading to the Nationals in mid-April. That's the final level in the Bible Bowl Challenge. Really hoping that they win, but I have my personal doubts. ;)
